1. All stallholders, carbooters and visitors are encouraged to download the Protect Scotland app for free from the Apple and Google stores. The app will alert you if you have been in close contact with another app user who has tested positive for coronavirus. It supports contact tracing and works through Bluetooth anonymously, protecting your privacy.
  2. Keep a distance of 2 metres from anyone outside of your household (or your work group) at all times.
  3. Avoid areas of the site that appear too crowded to remain at a distance of 2 metres and consider returning to this area at a later date.
  4. Children aged 11 and younger do not need to physically distance.
  5. Face coverings are mandatory in any indoor areas, such as an enclosed gazebo. However, in general outdoor areas with sufficient social distancing, facemasks are not required, albeit it is always encouraged.
  6. A reminder of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
To protect others, please do not attend the market if you have any of these symptoms. Get a test to check if you have coronavirus and stay at home until you get your result.
  7.  Those continuing to shield are asked not to travel to the Market.
  8. For those with mobility or access issues are made aware that the Market is held on a grassy area and so this may impede wheelchair users or those that are unsteady on their feet. Caution should always be taken whilst traversing throughout the Market.

  10. Toilets and hand washing facilities are not available on site. However, these facilities are available nearby at the local facilities situated at 1702 Cafe (for Crathes site) and on the Esplanade and within the Retail Park (for Aberdeen Beach Links).
